Jeff is the best physiotherapist I’ve ever been. He knows his stuff to help you recover quickly from whatever injury you’ve had. One of a kind.
I've been a client of Jeff Slemon's for months now and couldn't be more pleased with the care and attention I've received. He's helped me rehab a meniscus and shoulder injury, prehab for meniscus surgery and am currently working through the rehab post op. He's an encyclopedia of knowledge in biomechanics and provides you with all the tools needed to bounce back into whatever athletic endeavour you might have.
You will not find a better place for physical therapy. Multiple generation family run business with a passion and knowledge you can't find elsewhere.
I always look forward to my appointments with Dr. Slemon. She not only knows her stuff through and through, her bedside manner is top notch!
The staff are all very helpful and friendly! Heather is very knowledgeable and a caring person when she is treating her patients! I would recommend her hands down to anyone I know who is looking for a physiotherapist!
Melissa is absolutely the best. I moved out of bowmanville and had to try other massage clinics in my new area. I tried every clinic here and now continue to drive the hour to go back to see her. She listens to my complaints and watches how my body mechanics move. The relief I feel is 10/10!
Jeff is "hands down" one of the most educational, gifted and skilled physiotherapist I have ever been to. I have been to dozens of medical professionals regarding my mva injury and Jeff was the only professional who knew exactly what the injury was and how to effectively treat and manage it. I appreciate his help so very much and suggest him to all of my clients who are in need of physiotherapy.

Jeff is an excellent physio. He gets to the root of the problem and explains thoroughly what he's doing. He takes the time to be sure I understand the correct way to complete my exercises at home, as well as sending an email outlining the exercises. The frontdesk staff are very efficient and friendly. It's always a pleasure to visit Hands in Motion.

The staff at Hands in Motion are very welcoming. I have been seeing Heather for the last 2 years or so and it's always been a great experience. She always listens and asks questions to help solve the issues. I always feel great walking out after seeing her, becuse I know I'll be feeling better very soon. Doing ongoing Physio at Hands in Motion and could not ask for a better place.Seeing Kathy and she is amazing. Very communicative and keeps you involved in the process and helps you understand the need for everything that you are doing to better your health.The process to book is amazing and easy as they do online options so I can do everything easily from the comfort of home. The pricing is reasonable and they do direct billing to insurance. I will be doing naturopathy as well. Absolutely thankful to have found this place.
Heather has been treating me for over 2 years. She is a wonderful physiotherapist and I am able to exercise and move now. She helped me with my bad back…bulged discs and I am so very thankful!

After moving to Bowmanville from Toronto, I was concerned I wouldn’t find a clinic comparable to Toronto. Hands in Motion exceeded my expectations! Ive been seeing Tara for years now. I typically see Tara for naturopathy and acupuncture. Tara has helped me overcome some of the struggles I’ve experienced with shift work and has fixed my broken body on numerous occasions. She is extremely knowledgeable and skilful in all aspects of her job.
Jeff and the staff at Hands in Motion are all at the top tier of their specializations. Their knowledge, abilities and friendliness make your visit a highlight of your week especially when you arrive at a low point and need help and guidance to recover from your injury.
Dr Tara Slemon has been my naturopath for the past 2 years. She is very kind and professional and has introduced me to the benefits of acupuncture and alternative treatments that compliment traditional medicine. I would highly recommend Tara.If you are looking for a massage therapist you should definitely consider Sheriece. I have had regular massages with Sheriece and she is amazing. Her massages are intense and target the areas of concern and she also incorporates stretching and other techniques I have never experienced with other massage therapists. She is the best!
Heather Murphy is so nice, and very knowledgeable.She takes her time to explain were your pain starts on your body and we’re it travels and why. I had 1 appointment with Melissa Shadlock she was very nice and good to .
Great place for physio. Jeff is fantastic to deal with and really knows the proper ways to address the real issues. Where others have failed, Jeff has succeeded. Really appreciate his efforts to keep my playing at near my peak level while managing my injuries.
Dr. T works hard to determine the root cause of your issues and not just treat symptoms. She takes the time to listen to all your concerns and determine solutions that work with you. She has a very comfortable bedside manner. I always feel welcome and heard
I love this place. Staff are amazing. Kind, polite and accommodating. Our Massage Therapist Melissa is the best. Highly recommend the PT here as well. Everyone is incredibly helpful, kind and amazing at their job. I tried 4 othe RMTs and Melissa was the one who really puts the therapy in Massage Therapy. I heard the other RMT is wonderful as well.
